Jordy Nelson to Star in “Wizard of Oz” Television Commerical

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism is will soon be releasing a series of television commercials as part of a new advertising campaign, one of which will feature Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson, according to the Baraboo News Republic.

Reporter Ben Bromley writes, “Jerry Zucker is directing a commercial to debut in fall that stars Nelson, a Kansas native, in a takeoff on ‘The Wizard of Oz.’”

Zucker, a Wisconsin Native, and brother David directed the movies “Airplane!” and “Ghost.”

Other commercials will feature actors with Wisconsin ties, Henry Winkler and Tony Shalhoub.
