Photographic evidence posted to the social media network Instagram may indicate suspended Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly has been reinstated by the NFL.
Sent to me via a protected user on Twitter is a screen capture from the Instagram account “jjolly97″…
The “jjolly97″ account on Instagram is private, and I have requested to follow but have not yet been approved. I have no proof that “jjolly97″ is indeed that of Johnny Jolly, but there’s no indication that it is not, either.
The letter appears to be on NFL stationary dated February 25, 2013 and signed by Adolpho A. Birch III, the NFL’s senior vice president of law and labor policy. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been copied on the memo.
Johnny Jolly has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
Back in June of 2010, Jolly signed a one-year restricted free agent tender, under which the Packers would still retain his rights if reinstated.
Cheesehead TV will post more information as it becomes available.
