Packers Attend Fresno State Pro Day, Hamler On Display

According to Matt Loede of Packers Gab and Fox Sports Radio, the Packers were in attendance at Fresno State’s pro day workout on Monday where they were able to watch wide receiver Jamel Hamler.

Hamler was able to improve upon his 40-time at the Combine of 4.62 seconds with times recorded yesterday at 4.54 and 4.57.

Alexan Balekian of KMJ Radio 580 AM in Fresno says that Packers wide receiver and Bulldogs alum Chastin West was on hand to support his former teammates.

In an interview following the workout, Hamler told KMJ Radio about his experience interacting with the Packers while at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis in late February.

“I spoke to a lot of teams informally at the meeting areas of the Combine,” said Hamler. “I sat down a couple nights with the Packers and the Bears in their hotel room, I spoke to them. I got somewhat of a good feedback, I guess you could say, from those teams. You kind of don’t know, you play the guessing game and wait and see.”

Hamler spoke with Cheesehead TV at the Combine where he mentioned meeting with assistant coach John Rushing whose duties have recently been changed to include working with the wide receivers.

Here’s what Hamler had to say:
