Packers Calendar: Updates on Raji, Perry to Come Wednesday

The Packers return to practice on Wednesday for the first time this week in preparation for their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Following practice head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference at 1:25 p.m. that will be streamed live on the team’s official website.

NFL policy requires the Packers release an injury report beginning Wednesday and is usually announced immediately before McCarthy’s press conference.

Of particular attention will be the status of defensive lineman B.J. Raji (ankle) and linebacker Nick Perry, both of whom missed this past Sunday’s game against the Texans.

McCarthy previously acknowledged that wide receiver Greg Jennings (groin) and cornerback Sam Shields (calf, ankle) would not practice until later in the week, if at all.

Packers guard Josh Sitton hosts his own namesake weekly radio program The Josh Sitton Show on Wednesday evening on 107.5 FM and 1400 AM “The Fan” WDUZ in Green Bay, which can be streamed live on the station’s website at 6:00 p.m. Central time.

The show is aired live from The Pine Tree Sports Bar & Grill at Thornberry Creek in Oneida, Wis.

And right here at Cheesehead TV, our weekly Wednesday interviews with ProFootballFocus.com‘s Nathan Jahnke take place on Railbird Central live at 8:30 a.m.

  1. Mike says:

Keeping my fingers crossed. Need to get at least Raji and Perry back this week so they can get some PT and conditioning back after being out for 2-3 weeks!

Jennings should just be rested til the bye week. There’s nothing needed out of Jennings these next two weeks; if we can’t beat Jacksonville or Arizona without Jennings, we got BIG problems.
