Even though you won’t hear much about it because media coverage of the NFL Combine doesn’t begin until Thursday, the event actually gets underway on Wednesday.
Groups one, two and three arrive today in Indianapolis, which is to say the tight ends, offensive linemen and specialists check-in.
All three groups will undergo orientation, take a hospital pre-exam and X-rays, as well as take part in interviews with NFL teams.
The Green Bay Packers will be represented in Indianapolis and be taking part in the festivities. From general manager Ted Thompson and his front office staff to Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff to the team’s scouts, all will taking an up-close look at the 2013 NFL Draft class.
Also on Thursday, the electronic edition of the book Life After Favre is released.
