Packers Calendar: Crabtree Introduces Nutcracker Ballet

An unlikely pairing occurs on Friday evening in Green Bay: a big, burly football player and lithe, spry ballet dancers.

Packers tight end Tom Crabtree will introduce the Nutcracker Ballet being performed at the Meyer Theater at 7 p.m. Yes, really. He’s doing it in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Details and ticket information is available at Crabtree’s personal website.

Every Friday morning Mike McCarthy does brief interviews with several Wisconsin radio stations. They include:

  • WTMJ AM 620 Milwaukee at 6:25 am
  • WIBA AM 1310 Madison at 6:45 am
  • WIXX 101.1 FM Green Bay at 7:50 am

All interviews can be streamed live on the stations’ respective websites, all times Central.

The Packers return to practice for the final time this week on Friday in preparation for their game on Sunday at the Detroit Lions.

McCarthy will hold a press conference following practice that will be streamed live on the team’s official website at 12:30 p.m.

The Packers will also release their final injury report for the week on Friday, and the status of several players will be of particular attention, including defensive backs Charles Woodson and Sam Shields, both of whom practiced this week and could play on Sunday.
