My life as a submariner has never been one with fear…until now. Togito, my right hand man is desperately trying to fill the steel seams with epoxy. My eyes gleam with tears just watching how focused Togito is. You can only imagine how fast his hands are moving. We are on silent duty under the antarctic and rather large fuselage from what looked like an airplane struck us upon the nose of our beloved watercraft. Togito, my right hand man tells me he has slowed the leak down to 20 gallons per minute. In minutes our sub will be free falling into the depth of cold, dark and quiet. I feel blessed that I can call PackerRob such a good friend as his last satellite contact with me was a love poem to Togito and moi. The metaphor of our relationship is truly “infiniti” (your beautiful word), you divide it in two between me and togito and you still have infinite love. PackerRob you will not have to worry about sub surface e-mails during Packer games. I hope you hear my and Togito’s whispers of GPGo in your ears during the PLayoffs.

The water is half way up my captin’s chair- Togito with his pipe and me with my Cuban cigar. This will truly be a fun, exciting and ultimately worthwhile Packer season. I have tried to tune in Packer Radio as we fall slowly to the bottom- nothing but static…The attempt and the quality of your effort is always the thing in life. I have lived by that notion.

The aluminum can is cold. The lights on our dash have flickered out and all I see is the end of my cigar glowing red. The water has risen up to my chin. Togito, my right hand man and I hold each other in an embrace that is about more than fear, is about more than warmth- It is about how precious life is-especially the last few minutes of ones own.

Win or loose remember how beautiful your kids are. I am now typing on the ceiling of the submarine as water has filled 95% of our vessel. I have to admit I have so much less fear than I thought I would in a situation like this one. I refuse to allow the last minute of my living to be consumed with fear. I am 100% filled with wonder of the dark beyond.

The excitement of a new year, a Packer season, a new life, a new existence. Remind my kids I loved them more than mere words can tell. So as I go under I will use my last breathe to dance underwater with my best friend Togito. An underwater dance of life. I am smiling as I pump extra air into my lungs to make my last dance as long as possible. Good bye.

About cutting Flynn and trying to pick him up later, that's really not ideal. It's hard for a QB to come in and get right to work with an offense. The Packers would be much better off having Flynn on the team to work with the offense rather than trying to desperately pick him up if an injury happens. And Flynn has mostly bounced around the NFL, so I wouldn't say nobody wanted him. We wanted him after all. Flynn is the one that saved our playoff hopes last year when Tolzien couldn't.
