Great News - Jordy Nelson is Officially OK.
By JerseyAl
Packers Nation let out a collectve "phew" today as news came that Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson passed his physical and is officially off of the PUP (physically unable to perform) list.
This means he is now able to fully participate in team practices and eventually, play in a game.
#Packers WR Jordy Nelson has officially passed his physical and is off the PUP list. Some good news, there.

What about Cook and Montgomery you dishonorable non-promise keeping intentionally insufferable D Bag?
I am logging this deliberately antagonistic prediction with all of your others that are almost always wrong.
Keep swinging for the fences Sport.

If there isn't a special place in internet hell for people who spend their time hoping for injuries just so that they can post a comment showing how smart they are, there should be.
Type on, brave internet warrior.

No, I think we should upbear Cow's prediction. It seems those predictions comes for Packers favor. Please Cow, predict that GB will not win SB this season, please...

You cant worry abut Cow. Cow is not a Packer fan. In fact he hates the Packers with a passion that is hard to quantify. His nightmare is of the Packers winning.

High fives for everyone!
I don't want to see Jordy on the field until Week 1 of the regular season. Let him kick the rust then.

Off Topic on the NFL Commissioner
He can't get the 1st game of the preseason done
He gets $ 35,000,000 a year
He allows Al-Jazeera, a publication coming from a racist, bigoted Jihadist state of Qatar to impugn NFL football players and with that stellar source he threatens Julius Peppers, Clay Matthews and last year Peyton Manning.
Just curious. Anyone think Goodell is worth $35 million a year or do think if you had a say in that matter you would fire his sorry ass?

Under Goodell's tenure the NFL is a juggernaut that can not be stopped. They totally control the television landscape with the highest rated prime time programs three days a week. Of the top 25 rated television programs for the year, typically 22 - 24 of them are pro football games. The NFL's Revenues have exploded rising 50 % since 2010. If you think the owners are worried about WIll Smiths movie or ongoing PED information you are not really paying attention to why the owners love him so much.
And he ALLOWED a publication to report something? Wow just how much power do you think the commissioner of the NFL has?

I have a strong feeling there will more than Jordy Nelson to fear from this Offense this year.

Damn right.
For one, a slimmer Lacy.
Example: on that long run vs the Browns -- watch that Safety. That was an "eyes closed and fingers crossed" type of tackle. Lol, he hit Lacy with his shoulder. He's lucky Lacy tried to do a spin move...

Said Relax he'd be ready. Now, if Adams was 1/2 as good as Nelson or Cobb . There would be No discussion! Think about that.

Welcome back Jordy!!! Great news. I believe that leaves Linsley as the only remaining player on the PUP, unless I missed his return. Thanks, Since '61

I was one of those that was very pessimestic that Monty would come back this TC. I was wrong, but I didn't think Jordy would be out that long. More than anything else....he need to get his timing back down. I suspect he's in pretty good condition or close to it.

Monty making camp has been the best news by far. Maybe we will finally have a season without any serious or lingering injuries.

Would Davante Adams make the 53 cut this year if he were an UDFA? Probably not - too inconsistent. Will he make it? Hard to say. Davis & Allison look like keepers. Jordy & Cobb = no-brainers. Ditto Monty. And Abby looks great. That's six right there. JJ is a ST player, not a WR, though I'd like to see defenses catch him on some short passes.

Jordy being back IS good news. Now we can go back from having to win on Hail Mary's from our HOF QB to chasing out teams of the stadium in the first half transforming into eking out 4 point wins in the second half (aka "normal"). That is assuming we don't go completely off-script with five minutes to go in the game.
2015 was a mulligan year for MM. The debacle of the end of the 2014 season is STILL on his head. People seem to be forgetting that.
Time is running out. No more of this having a great race car of a team only to keep neck and neck with the pace car. TT supplies talent. Consistency is MM's job, and he's not been too spectacular in my book this last half decade. I might hang 2012 on TT, but the rest is MM. Too many chubby players, too much "we'll fix that NEXT year" only to have something else go off the rails. Get it right NOW, MM, BEFORE another season goes down the drain.
We've got 2, maybe 3, prime years of Rodgers left. Time has come to keep players - and their pneumatic cutlery - away from the buffet tables, time to keep the foot on the throats of the other team for the WHOLE GAME, time to "fix it" in camp instead of finally figuring out what's wrong in week 12 and pledging to fix it for next year. MM has 10+ years experience now. He should know what's wrong NOW and get it right for the season.
