Aaron Kampman vs. Kareem McKenzie
Giants right tackle Kareem McKenzie did a decent job against the Buccaneers, although he gave up a sack, and really played an excellent game against the Cowboys and their 3-4 defense. But Aaron Kampman is the best end he'll have faced in the playoffs. Going back and watching the match-up from Week Two, Kampman gave McKenzie fits with his quick release up-field, getting the tackle to commit to the outside, and then using inside leverage and a bull rush to collapse the pocket on quarterback Eli Manning. From the little I saw of the Giants in the regular season, and the two playoff games so far, offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride doesn't give his tackles much more than a back chipping out of the backfield for help, which would be a major mistake against Kampman this week. I expect to see some of the rookie TE Boss lined up to Kampman's side to help McKenzie. Should the Packers grab an early lead, look for Kampman to make McKenzie's life miserable as Gilbride sacrifices protection by bringing in extra receivers to try to take advantage of Green Bay's safeties in man coverage.
