That was pretty fun. I was surprised at the quality of the video feed. Well done.
The chat however, was way too delayed. I would type something, and 2 minutes later it would show up. If we can find a better chat option, this will be kick ass.
IronMan – the chat comments are on a manual approval – Brian and CD were literally approving every single entry. Shoot Corey or I an email and we’ll get you auto approved before the next broadcast. Thanks for checking it out…
They can censor me if they want. Lord knows when I’ll say something shocking.
I was there for some of it too. Pretty cool setup you guys have. I enjoyed it. If I may, a couple of suggestions though.
1. Either read the chats more during the broadcast, or have a third person monitoring the chats for you. The broadcast and the chat seemed disjointed. It would be cool to interact with you guys more.
2. Only have one chat.
3. When you’re off the air put on some Packer highlights.
Keep up the good work fellas! Go Pack!
Dave – thanks for the feedback.
Definitely going to ramp up the interaction this week.
When we go off the air we will be playing a commercial this week I made myself– well I call it a commercial it’s really an animation I made.
I would LOVE to play Packer highlights…gotta get permission from the NFL and 1265 Lombardi Avenue first.
Aaron!!!! Excellent, excellent work. I agree about the video…the quality was amazing. You guys did a very good job.. look forward to future broadcasts
Heck, Aaron…. I would think GBP would appreciate the free advertising.
Aaron & Corey
A very nice effort for the first time out. I actually liked the lack of a commercial during the commercial breaks – LOL.
Some suggestions:
As others have said, no point having a “live” chat if it’s not real-time. I started using the comments bar next to the video screen because the response was almost immediate. Perhaps you should emphasize that more.
Strap Corey into something so he can’t move. Corey, you’re in and out of the picture and your voice fades as you move away from the microphone. Maybe drink less Red Bull, Beer or Coffee?
Not being critical here guys, I really did enjoy it. I never felt geekier in my life.
Are these shows going to be available as a podcast? I would love to be able to listen to them in my car/at work. Thanks.
Pete – that’s the plan. Unfortunately, our maiden voyage may have to wait a bit to make it’s appearance on ITunes, etc due to my feeble skills with GarageBand. But starting next week, they most certainly will. Thanks for listening and thanks for your patience.
