Former Packers quarterback Jim McMahon has been named in a lawsuit filed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) against Broadway Bank of Chicago where McMahon was on the board of directors, according to the Chicago Tribune.
McMahon was the backup to starting quarterback Brett Favre on Green Bay’s 1996 Super Bowl winning team.

Jim McMahon was on the board of directors for a bank? And the bank failed?
I find the first part more surprising that the second.
“McMahon was the backup to starting quarterback Brett Favre on Green Bay’s 1996 Super Bowl winning team.”
I love this quote, not Bears SB winning QB, but backup to Favre on our super bowl. Excellent writing Brian, I love it.
