Favre Surprised About Woodson’s Release

Brett Favre joined NFL AM on Monday morning to talk about the tornado that recently hit his home town.
The conversation then moved on to football and Favre said this about the Packers releasing his former teammate Charles Woodson:
“He’s, in my opinion, maybe the most instinctive player in football. He just has a nose for (the) football. He’s a ball hawk. I just think he’s a definite asset on your team, so I was surprised by it.”

It appears Favre still thinks TT makes nothing but bad/wrong decisions…LOL
Christ, has Bert, Richard Sherman, or Ryan Clark watched him the last couple years? I was late to admit he had lost a step… But he has. Not to mention he has a recurring shoulder injury. This was the correct move, not a doubt in my mind.

Why does everyone read into everything BF4 says? You have to admit, even though most people thought Woodson’s release might be coming, the fact it happened so soon and no renegotiation was surprising on Friday.
Favre has been around the NFL for about 20 years, Im shocked anything to do with the game surprises him anymore.
Favre can’t resist taking a shot at Thompson even if its from the hip and not likely to find the target
The rest of the quote…
“I’m going to be honest, I was not surprised [by Thompson releasing Woodson]. The biggest surprise to me would be that he didn’t do it sooner.”
Wait…
Shut up brett
I’m shocked it took BF this long to say add his .02 Why do we still ask him what he thinks?
More importantly, I’m wondering why CHTV finds it necessary to post what he thinks?
Because there are people who care what he thinks.
