Favre Follows Cheesehead Nation
By PackerAaron
How else do you explain his decision to speak live tonight to Joe Buck on Buck's new HBO program? Clearly, the negative things I've written about Favre (and there have been a few) kept him from wanting to appear on our next live Cheesehead Nation production, but you can be sure, our next program, coming Wednesday evening, will be a million times better than any shabby HBO production with a live interview with one of the NFL's biggest stars. Who will our special guest be, you ask?
That's right, an honest to goodness Packers player will join us on Wednesday Night Live, brought to you by Cheesehead Nation. We'll be asking Joe about his journey to becoming a Packer, how OTAs have been treating him and we'll pick his brain regarding that new Dom Capers' defense.
So yes, it's sweet and all that HBO has an ex-Packers player on their little network tonight, but REAL Packers fans won't want to miss hearing what a current player has to say about the greatest team in the history of sport. Be there Wednesday night.

Greta must have been busy tonight. All he wants is just a little love.
Let's hope it's to anounce his retirement. Again!

Wasn't Joe Buck the one who commentated on the "disgusting" de-pantsing and butt-rub by Randy Moss on the goal post in that playoff game? I wonder if Moss will come up in conversation between the two...what an interesting tangent that topic could take...

Guys, I know Brett Favre means a lot to Packers fans but the guys just announced a Packers player is going to be on Cheesehead Nation. That's pretty cool. If nothing else we're one step closer to having an inside man in the locker room who could help us kill Jarrett Bush.

I thought he was playing for the Dolphins now... Bad jokes aside, it's pretty awesome to have an inside guy on a "fan" "podcast". Let alone a player! I missed last show, sure won't miss this.

The quotation marks are there because you guys are more than just fans, and Cheesehead Nation is more than just a podcast. And I'm not just ballwashing here. I don't follow only the Packers, or the NFL, and there isn't anything out there that even resambles this. Kudos :)

Peter King commends you on your inclusion of Brett Favre in a seemingly unrelated discussion.

I'm curious how Joe Buck will treat this. He can score major points with the fans and be direct and ask Favre the tough questions. The problem is, however, that this would cost him future opportunities to have players on his new show. It depends on whether he wants to be a real "journalist," or whether he'll settle for good ratings based off of celebrity interviews.

Tonight he will announce that he is still retired for now unless he changes his mind... in other words we will be even more confused after he speaks.
