Eddie Lacy Reportedly Seen in Orthopedic Walking Boot

From Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com:

Following a sprained ankle suffered in the Packers' last game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, Lacy has yet to practice this week, although head coach Mike McCarthy left open the possibility that he would be able to take part in Friday's prep session.

Lacy has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, and in fact, did return to action last week after initially injuring his ankle.

So MM knows a hell of a lot more than you when it comes to football. What does that make you?

So take a knee and show the Falcons your going to quit. I'm sure the Falcons if anything were expecting a pass, so maybe he breaks a long run. looks nice on the stat sheet anyway. What if they tried a long pass and Jordy got hurt? I think he's sending a message to his team, we're going to play every down. Defended.

Overheard in the locker room:

"Well, I was going to shut it down for the rest of the game... BUT COACH CALLED A RUN PLAY TO END THE HALF INSTEAD OF TAKING A KNEE!!! THAT REALLY PUMPS ME UP!!! I'M READY TO ROLL NOW!!!"

You've been on a witch hunt all year when it comes MM, so now you think you've got something concrete and have a few trolls tagging along. Fail.

Witch hunts only work if a person has the power to see them to fruition. Cow/Clowney doesn't, making him the worst possible thing he could be in his own mind, irrelevant.

Not ripping MM.
Never ripped the play call (although - you have to admit... it did seem like a throw-away type of play. didn't make much sense).

I was simply (sarcastically) making fun of anyone who might think that MM's running the ball on a useless end of the half play, could in any way send any sort of a message to his team.

Do you (or anyone else) really think that the team played harder in the second half because they ran the ball with Lacy instead of taking a knee before running into the tunnel?

Come.
On.

After seeing the replay of his injury it looked really bad, not just some simple little sprain. I wouldn't be surprised to hear he actually tore some ligaments or something. The way it rolled with a guy on his back I was surprised he was able to play on it at all the rest of the game.

What do you think a sprain is? Torn ligaments, whether partial or fully! Epic fail...

Are we sure it wasn't just some kind of Man Ugg? These young guys are much more fashion forward than we may be used to.

Just to mess with the media, I'd love to see one of the NFL superstars to get photographed wheeling around in a wheelchair ala Christopher Reeve
on a random monday or tuesday.

What gets me is, the team is banged up and struggling. Rather than support them and come up with positives, its finger pointing and blaming. This is usually the behavior of adolescents found in elementary school. I want what I want, and I want it now. Its all your fault MM and TT. There will be no dynasties in the NFL anymore. Put a playoff caliber team on the field every year and anything can happen.

Sure, because the players, GM and coaches surely read the comments on CHTV on a weekly if not daily basis...

I'm willing to bet Lacy plays. He is a beast. He might not take most of the reps, but I am willing to bet he plays a lot.

He is a tough SOB! He will play.

But they will use Starks a lot more this weekend, which I think is ok because Starks has very good speed and should hopefully be able to break a few runs.

So Does EVERY team in the NFL. Taylor was unique. Outstanding size, outstanding athletic ability. Tremendous ball skills. Intimidating. He was the complete package. That's why he was drafted in the Top 5. There hasn't been a safety w/ his attributes since.

A lot of teams have tried many have failed.

Maybe Hyde will surprise a lot of people. He has the makings of a play maker in the secondary.
