Dietrich-Smith In For Sitton
The second year player out of Idaho State is slated to start Sunday against the Giants.
By PackerAaron
During the portion of today's practice that was open to the media, interior lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith replaced starting right guard Josh Sitton, who injured his knee in last Thursday's game against the Lions.
Also, outside linebacker Erik Walden, recently released from Brown County jail after being released on a signature bond, was practicing at his usual starting position opposite Clay Matthews.
From Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
#packers practice: Erik Walden taking part and in usual starting spot. Bishop, Hawk are present but not practicing. EDS replacing Sitton.
Sitton will not play Sunday against the Giants.
While there was no report to this effect, it is safe to assume that D.J. Smith and Robert Francois, who played for Bishop and Hawk last Thursday, were practicing in their place.
Mike McCarthy will be addressing the media later this afternoon.

There is a report (NFL Network & NJ Star Ledger)out of the Giants practice center today that Michael Strahan was there with the Defensive Line. Purportedly he was pretty vocal and loud focusing in on helping their techniques in preparation for Sunday. It seems over the past few weeks, when Strahan's on FOX he has been pretty strong about wanting the Giants to end the Packers winning streak. Much like the Giants did to the Patriots in the Super Bowl XLII (but was unable to do in their regular season game). Nothing like employing extra "coaches" with free access to the other teams locker rooms to help right the Giants 2nd half floundering.

I'm not sure if that was a serious post or not.
If serious..what would the Giants learn that shouldn't already be public information?
