Teams will pass all over these guys. They are smallish, slow to react, poor cover skills and can't tackle one on one. Would not be shocked to see this team drop the next four games at home with all our guys back.
It's always nice to see the bandwagon fans jumping off after a loss.
Consistent pass rush and the ability to at least slow the run would do as much for the pass d as a whole secondary of Revis clones. When you give a guy like Brees time, he's going to shred you.
Not consistently, it seems. The biggest head scratcher is how the D can go from "Our open-field tackling has taken a step" to "tackle the damn ball carrier!" in just a week's time.

And that's why I feel this Defense has good/great potential. It's just not consistent. There's still time.
We need consistency from ILB, DLs and HHCD. When that happens I think that's when the Pack will get hot.
Yes, the inability to make Brees uncomfortable was a major issue. Compare the Lions game. But as MM analyzed it, successfully running the ball slows the pass rush big time. We have the personnel to pressure. Run D is THE problem.
Finding a franchise quarterback is messy. But the Packers have separated fact from fiction when it comes to finding franchise quarterbacks. Two other teams in the division are actively looking.
On today's show, Andy is joined by Acme Packing Company's Justis Mosqueda to discuss Josh Jacob's fit within Matt LaFleur's offense, how Green Bay will utilize Xavier McKinney, and just how worried Packers fans should be about the potential of two top rookie quarterbacks entering the division. Don't miss it!
