woodson never gets the respect he deserves. In my opinion he is the best shutdown corner in the league and one of the best period. Collins had a good run this season and it was good to see him accel for a change. pat lee from what I hear is prospected to be a shutdown corner like harris and woodson, time will tell with that

Woodson might have looked better to writers if it weren’t for the secondary’s horrible game @NO, plus the games when he played safety (though I think he still forced a fumble or two).

I would agree that I think Woodson’s stint at safety may have eaten away at his votes, to a degree. It’s too bad, because I’m starting to think that Woodson is bringing more to this team than just solid play. He’s a leader and a playmaker on a defense devoid of playmakers.

Peter King picked Finnegan ahead of Woodson earlier this week too. I laughed then, and I am still chuckling now.

Not even close…at least not at this stage of their careers.
