That kid was quite raw, if I remember correctly. Good to see that he's developing. I think the Packers tried to stash him on their practice squad, but couldn't get him past waivers without other teams nabbing him. So it goes when you have a deep team. Not dissimilar to Dave Tollefson, who Thompson also drafted, and who played a fair number of downs as a back-up DE for the Giants in the playoffs. Excellent.
