Love his quotes about playing with pain, like he's Superman. Glad to have him back soon, but he sure seems injury prone.

What does his hair have to do with anything?

Do you wish he would color it a different color too?

Who cares how long his hair is... I mean really?

Just my opinion he should cut his hair like A.J. Hawk did. He's playing his best football in his career and he's healthy after he cut those locks. Just superstition. I am a superstitious type of person. I am old school where men had crew cuts when they played. I doubt he'll do it just would like to see it. I'd love Matthews to sport the Johnny Unitas look. Those were the days I tell you what!!

No way. So bummed when Hawk cut his hair. Even more bummed when we refused to draft Brooks Reed. Could You imagine???

Well I understand you younger farts like the long hair. It was that way in the 60's with the hippies and beatniks. It's just that I feel Green Bay should set an example like when Lombardi played. No long hair period!! They played pretty darn good with crew cuts or short hair in those days I tell you what!!

Hawk is playing out of his mind and it all started to change for him when he cut that damn ugly long hair. Just my opinion. We can yell and argue if you want. Fine with me. I enjoy the debate.

well RC, didn't you know that one can judge a player's performance by his hair length? I mean, just as Cow wanted to waive Bakhtiari since he was undersized, get rid of Lacy since he was too heavy and slow, get rid of Hyde since he was way to slow, I think Ted should make decisions about roster cuts by comparing the hair lengths of players. If Mike thinks two players have roughly equal skills, he should play the one with shorter hair. I totally get it! I mean, just look at the horrible world we live in - guys with long hair, women who don't clean the house and pack your lunch box, but (gasp) want to work themselves now - I am not sure I can take those horrors much longer. Maybe move to Saudi Arabia - men are still men with short hair, women stay home to clean, cook, and raise children, the world is in order and much better there...

Wow...

Ok, I can't comment on hair anymore...

Glad to see CM3 is nearing his return. Looking forward to having him back. Even if he will be in a club. He is too good and can be effective no matter what.

Yeah, no doubt. If he has a problem with women. Then he needs to leave it off of this website and honestly just leave.

Jayme I have lots of a respect for you. Hope you ignore pretty much everything this guy says.

Schedule is fairly soft the next few weeks. No reason to rush. Besides, the team is generating pressure pretty well in his absence. Though I do think he could help the D get a couple more takeaways.

I trust that they'll make sure he gets totally right before putting him back out there.

Getting him totally right? Like so he won't have to have a club on his hand? That would take till about playoff time. Soon as the bone is sufficiently fused, minus the pins, he'll be out there.

Heard something about the pins coming out recently. Anyone know if they took them out already?

I just wish the D would play a complete 60 min and not give up those quick TD drives. Play your D the entire game, not this Prevent stuff that allows the team to get quick scores. I know we were up big, but it's infuriating.

Lombardi was a very progressive coach, even in the 60's, pretty sure he wouldn't have a problem with long hair.

How about some news on JJ. It's nice to think we can manage with white as our #3 ....but we cant. A good D will be able to stop.us. Our pass rush is playin good ball without Clay...but we need JJ.

Great QB's elevate the play of the WR on the field. Not that I don't want Jones or Cobb back asap, but we can and will survive as long as we have Rodgers and still make the playoffs. Favre MADE many WR that had ordinary talent in Pro Bowl WR, Freeman, Driver, among them. Rodgers can do the same... We would need them to advance in the playoffs and be a true SB contender tho. As long as we get Jones and Cobb back in the next few weeks or by the playoffs we'll still win the division. We don't need them now, just in the playoffs.

U honesty think that Boykin will be able to get away from Jennings Monday nite? I ..do not.

he won't have to get away from him. he is much bigger and taller, so as long as he can shield the ball from Jennings and make sure that if Jennings goes for the ball has to foul Boykin he will be fine.

Besides that Rodgers won't put it anywhere near where Jennings can get at it.

Nothing wrong with being optimistic but ... the sooner Cobb & JJ return the better. The Pack have 2 losses but the Lions & Bears only have 3 losses with over half the season yet to play. Besides, some players who have been inactive for weeks need game time to get back up to speed.

You're counting chickens. Ask a Falcon fan about that.

Like I said... Need Jones and Cobb to advance in the playoffs, but can get there w/o them. Didn't say win the division...

And Ryan isn't Rodgers. Ryan is very good, not Great! Ryan doesn't have the ability to make WR much better than they really are. That's why the had to get another great WR (Julio Jones) to go w/ Roddy White.

Agree. James Jones would be a big boost against the Bears with Tillman covering Nelson. Our TEs need to step up, mainly Quarless. Need to keep pounding the rock and control the clock with Lacy and Starks. A 5-7 yd checkdown to the RB isn't bad at all!

Reading the Chicago Sun Times today and all they could talk about was generating pass rush with all the tackle and LB replacements they've had. I know Rodgers gives them cold sweats but da Bears may be in for a rude awakening with packers run game.

Clay Matthews is hardly injury prone, sure he has the reoccurring hamstring injury every year it seems but his thumb is the only other injury hes had that hes missed time for. He did have another issue with his shin at one point but that hardly makes him injury prone, especially when you consider how reckless he is with his body on the field.

He wanted Brooks Reed because he had long blonde hair like Hawk and Clay so he's got some type of hair fetish from what I gather. He thought it would be cool to have all three together on the field yet Ray Nitschke sits on the bench because he has male pattern baldness. I don't get it either.

Packers will continue to run early and often, maintain possession, set up lethal play-action. Nothing wrong with positive yardage on first down.

Hey guys...just wondering, when you wash rinse and repeat how many times do you repeat?

And what color do you think Clay's cast will be? I sure hope it is pretty.

This is probably more a question for women but since there's mostly men here I'll try to answer this since I brought the hair length issue topic up and it appears there's much more people than I anticipated that are interested in this.

As for my hair, I am totally bald. Yes, Kojak bald so washing and rinsing isn't a big deal for me. I don't repeat hell I don't even use shampoo half the time. lol

As for his cast I don't know about the rest of you guys but I would love to see Clay wear a pink cast to honor women with breast cancer. I had several people in my life that were affected by it.

Why bother. We need players who can tackle, grab the QB, catch interceptions. Stay out, get it fixed for good, we got guys stepping up. Third time in three years you were out of service. You should have the energy since you only play half the games.
