Not that there was any doubt that he wouldn't, but when the NFL released its list of participants for the Combine on Thursday, it made it official that Texas A&M offensive lineman Jake Matthews was, indeed, invited.
Jake is the cousin of Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, the nephew of Clay's father, Clay Sr., and perhaps most notably, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews.
Jake is rated as the No. 1 overall prospect in the entire draft class by NFLDraftScout.com, thanks in no small part to his lineage.
