CHTV Welcomes Brian Carriveau
Brian Carriveau will be joining Cheesehead TV this summer.
By PackerAaron
That's right ladies and gentlemen - Brian Carriveau, long of Railbird Central fame, will be making the jump over to the Dark Side and joining us here at Cheesehead TV starting later this summer.
Corey and I are just absolutely thrilled to have Brian coming on board. This summer is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for the site and Brian's work will augment what we plan to be our growing presence on the Packers beat. We still have to hammer out the details but the plan will be for Brian to do the bulk of the actual 'reporting' for the site as he is actually good at that sort of thing while I, for the most part, suck. Brian will still, obviously, be free to write opinion pieces. Most of all - he will be Our Man In Havanah, the eyes and ears of Cheesehead TV in and around Lambeau.
Again, we couldn't be more thrilled. Welcome aboard Brian.

...Word on the street is that Brian did not sign his tender and is holding out for more cash and a long term deal
There are (3) other blogs rumored to be interested in his services
In an uncapped year, Carriveau is trying to maximize his paycheck- and was seen talking with Drew Rosenhaus at the recent owners meeting.
Andrew Brandt commented :
"Brian is seeking a large signing bonus commensurate with his ascending value across the web."
Carriveau commented on the ongoing discussions:
" I know I have a few good years left and I would like to join a blog with a chance at winning a ring"
Former colleagues at the JSO lamented:
" Brian was a key cog in our evolving web presence, but we understand his desire to play in a larger forum "
Will Nagler open up the CHTV coffers ?

As a part of a big corporation myself, I love consolidation!!
So glad Brian joined the CHTV crew for real!
Aaron and Corey: You guys are amassing quite the talent! First Holly & Brian, then guest posts from CSS, and now Brian joining full time! What next?? Guest posts from the commish?
Please be advised that as of this posting, CHTV has cemented itself as the first site I check in the morning and the last site I check at night!! (Sorry NYTimes.com!!)
I hope you guys keep growing and growing! And I'll be here to watch us grow!!
Congrats!

Oh. Didn't know you were leaving JSOnline also, and being permanent in here!
CHTV is becoming huge! Like a trapper keeper! But good (?).
BTW, I've said it on the blogcast, but really, it's great that you're pursuing your dreams! Have the best of luck, and I'll stay a regular!

We're stripping it for parts.
Seriously, Brian has some ideas. All will be revealed.

As far as mergers go, the best mergers are the ones that benefit everybody, including the customers! Hey...that's us! Congrats to all of you...keep up the fantastic work!

So what did you guys give up to land Brian? Was there a signing bonus?

I can't wait for Cheesehead TV's weekly column written by Brian Carriveau, "Special Report", focusing on- yup, you guessed it- Packers Special Teams play. I see it as being another must-read supplement just like the Other 31. As Bedard recently pointed out, Packers fans better start paying attention to special teams development, and who better to give us the skinny than Brian?
Awesome that CHTV is amassing all this talent under one roof... is this coincidence that this has all been happening right around the time Aaron stops by NFL network for a sales pitch?

and my rounds on packer blogs are now that much easier

Yes Al, Corey and Brian are gonna take this place to the next level (you should join the team!). Those two have so much talent in their respective fields, it will be hard not to see a marked improvement! Congrats to everyone at CHTV.
