OFFENSE:

• Help Tony Moll On Adewale Ogunleye

Mike McCarthy doesn't need me to tell him this, but Moll (newsflash - he will not be the starting right tackle next season) will be eaten alive by Ogunleye if he's left one one one on obvious passing downs. Lee, Humphrey, Grant and Wynn will all need to help out over there on third downs if the Packers hope to give Rodgers time in the pocket. Another interesting o-line matchup will be in the middle as Wells, Colledge and Spitz take on Anthony Adams and Tommie Harris. Adams is playing for Dusty Dvoracek, whom Wells absolutely stoned the last time these two teams played. Adams is playing much better than Dvoracek was and the Packers always have trouble with Harris, even if he is having a disappointing year overall. Look for McCarthy to use some Falcon and Rhino packages (with a tight end in for Korey Hall who will most likely miss the game due to his injured knee) early on to try and continue what was started the last time. I doubt Bear defensive coordinator Bob Babich stays in a two-deep shell for as long as he did last time and McCarthy can take advantage by running playaction out of the Falcon. Bottom line, for both sides of the ball, it will come down to the play of the lines. Things should stay respectable on offense. On defense, well...

DEFENSE:

• Drop Rouse Down - Stay In Nickel Against Two TEs

Now that the whole Woodson-At-Safety fiasco is behind us, Aaron Rouse has a chance, on a national stage no less, to show that the Woodson move was indeed as ridiculous as many (including me) have made it out to be and to position himself as contender number one to take the job from Atari Bigby during training camp next year. Of course, to do this, he'll need to play better than he has to date. Looking at his seemingly more successful rookie campaign, Rouse plays better the closer to the line he gets, and if there's a team  the Packers can afford to commit a safety to the line of scrimmage, it's the Bears. Rouse is a liability when forced to play deep coverage, but thrives down in the box. He can help contain Forte (if he plays) and help take away the 'In' routes that Bear offensive coordinator Ron Turner seems to live off of on third down. Bob Sanders, no doubt coaching for his job, needs to stick to the Nickel that clamped down on Turner's two tight end sets during the game at Lambeau. Yes, Turner will try a new wrinkle or two knowing the Packers will counter with the Nickel (no doubt Turner will stick with the run much longer than last time) but overall the Packers are better equipped to stop tight ends Desmond Clark and Greg Olsen with Tramon Williams and Brandon Chillar than with Chillar and Poppinga.

Overall, I'm actually quite looking forward to this game. It will be interesting to see what kind of difference the lack of playoff expectations plays on the squad overall, especially Aaron Rodgers. The guess here is that the team has been 'tight' with the mounting losses and will play with an abandon tonight that will make them look much closer to the team we all thought we were going to get before the year began.
