Cheesehead TV Featured In New York Times
Cheesehead TV co-founder and analyst Aaron Nagler is featured in a recent New York Times Dealbook article by Peter Lattman.
More specifically, Cheesehead TV's co-founder and analyst Aaron Nagler is featured in a New York Times Dealbook article by Peter Lattman.
"At Blackstone, Mr. Nagler spends his days fielding calls from private equity reporters and the company’s Washington lobbyists. When football season rolls around, he obsesses about all things Packers — the team’s dilemma at left tackle, for example, or a new Broadway play on Vince Lombardi, the celebrated Green Bay head coach," writes Lattman.
For those of us who know and follow Aaron, it comes as no surprise the lengths he goes to for the sake of the Green Bay Packers.

Good for you Aaron. Packer nation could do a lot worse as far as representation!

Could do worse? We can and we will do worse!

congrats Nagler, hey that means the two of us have something in common (besides the obvious packer love), we both have been featured on a newspaper...except youre in an international well accredited media platform, and i was primarly read by local stoners in regards to different types of cheesecakes (but hey it was about CHEESE!) LOL ; )

and a "Grit" from Appleton.
In all seriousness, congrats to you Aaron. Great to see someone escape the Valley and make it. The NY Times twice now? Wow.

That's great. I'll read all of your posts with slightly more dramatic flair from now on.

Awesome article, great story. Well deserved.

I'm with Bedard here. I dont think you sleep.
And I can only assume that this is the first step in acquiring the NY Times and putting it under the CheeseheadTV umbrella like all the rest of the internet.
Thanks to you, Corey, BC, Holly and everyone who puts in ridiculous hours so we have something to obsess over. I live in the midst of Carolina Panther land, and constantly remind everyone how good I have it in the blogosphere. No other team can boast the web presence that the Pack has.

Definitely well-deserved. Not only is this the best Packer website out there, I don't think I've seen another one dedicated to any other team that compares.
Congratulations and keep up the good work!

That's really a great article Aaron. I'm so happy for you and Corey. Well deserved. I can totally hear Corey yelling "Go Pack" from the back of the auditorium :)

Bravo, Aaron and Corey. You guys deserve the love! Handshakes for everyone.

Congratulations! The recognition is definitely much deserved. This site is my #1 stop for Packers info, and I am always eager to catch the Packers Transplants show.
Keep up the great work!

I'm telling it for a while: like a trapper keeper, CHTV WILL take over the world. Whether it's a good or a bad thing, it's still up for grabs. One can only hope that they remain in the path of righteousness (don't incorpore anything purple or navy blue to their content).
Kudos Nagler!

This is awesome. So happy for you guys.

From Appleton, geez I use to live on Pacific St right next to the cemetary! Get place to play as a kid and a chance to scare the hell out of folks on Halloween. Some reason folks are afraid of cemetaries, but when you live three houses away, it is just a BIG park with headstones.

congrats!!!

I saw this on the homepage while reading other stuff - imagine my surprise! Well done!

I was surprised to learn that you have a day job considering the amount of time you spend during regular business hours tweeting and blogging about the Packers. Is Blackstone is aware to what length they are enabling their employees to spend time developing their own private side careers?
Anyway, I love the Packers and hope you know we are all jealous that you have found a job willing to financially support this endeavor. I believe it is the dream of every Wisconsinite to find a job that will pay them to be a Packers fan. Congratulations!

Don't get the wrong idea Jill. Blackstone does not support this site in any way. They allow me to work on it as long as my regular work doesn't suffer - so far, I've been able to balance that.
September 30, 2010 at 05:48 pm
but as soon as the quality of this site goes down, you are out at Blackstone.

Congrats Aaron and Corey! When JSOnline had its online poll recently regarding Packers news sources, I put Cheesehead TV ahead of everyone. You guys rock.
Hope you won't forget the cast and crew of Brett Favre Burning when you take over the football universe ;)

Since you guys are in N.Y., I thought it fitting...
