Cheesehead TV 2.0
By PackerAaron
That's right - it's an all new CHTV.
Corey has obviously been hard at work behind the scenes. Myself, I have no idea how he does it. But wow, I'm impressed. Lots for us to explore. (And lots of space for new content. Get to work Nagler!)
We'd be remiss if we didn't send out a big "thank you" to Wally Pingel for all his help with Cheesehead TV both the past year and for plans we have going forward. It's going to be an exciting year for us and we hope you'll come along for the ride. In the meantime, take a look around. Corey has stressed to me it's all still very BETA and he's still working on a lot of things - but overall, CHTV 2.0 is in full effect.
Enjoy.

I like it. A little confusing at first to navigate, buts it's much more compact and easy to access than the old site.
Excellent work Corey!

To continue my trend of being super critical (sorry :(), is there an easy way you can display the "Featured" section more prominently with a full section? Also I have a widescreen monitor and this is super scrunched up and leaves large empty space on either side. Hopefully Corey can get compatability with other resolutions (I know it's still a beta).
Here's a quick rough sketch of what I was describing.

Of course my positive comments didn't go through. Must be a fancy new filter Corey set up so that nice things can't be said. ;). Love the twitter feed and the new dedicated video section at the top; will be perfect with all of the new video content you guys put out during the season. Great work to Corey and the crew (?) who set it up. Impressive. And I'm sure the usability will be improved going forward. Hopefully my suggestions can help out.

Here's a look at the page on a widescreen monitor. I added the boxes myself obviously. Just a look at the unused screen space. Hopefully helps Corey out if possible.

What a great weekend for Packer fans. We get FanFest, 2 signings, and third uniform and a new and improved CheeseheadTV. Are we spoiled or what?

Still a little confusing to me... But it looks good, and I'm pretty sure when I get used to it, it's going to be awesome!

Corey, I wish you could make this work better on my DOS machine. You can't believe how hard it is to keep this with a dual floppy.
Actually, I love it. Compact and quick response. Didn't take long to get into the flow.

nice work, corey. great site, the biggest change I noticed -- enlarging the font of, 'BUY US A BEER'.

One thing that I really liked from the get go:
You can finally edit your text accordingly, you can begin a new paragraph and it stays that way!

Oh you had to know I would fix that. :) That was a longstanding complaint- it was fun to see all the creative ways people would put comment paragraphs though..

Great stuff Corey. Still playing with everything but I really like it

Wow, looks awesome, great work!

Corey,
Glad to give my opinion. Regarding the widescreen, I'm not expecting you to be able to get to that one. Even "Super Sites" like Yahoo still leave us Widescreen guys hanging. But you've done great work and I'll be excited to see how things come together :).

Nice work Corey. You shouldn't let that glory hound partner of yours get all the love. Come out from behind the curtains once in a while.

Will the site go to the alternate navy blue color scheme for one week this season, by any chance?
Seriously, it looks really good! Thanks, guys!

Actually - that is a fan-freaking-tastic idea.

I like the view and navigation, and I look on my iPod touch later to see what it looks like. One wish list thing would be an index page of recent articles, or a scroll bar on the home page to see more than the last 4.

I have to get used to navigating the new site, but I love it so far!!! I have SOOO many articles to catch up on! Nagler has been going in hyper-drive with his posts!!

Apparently I'm totallly resistant to change. I must be getting old. But I'm sure it was a lot of work to put together and I'll get used to it....kinda like the new jersey. Soon I'll probably even love it.

BTW, is there a mobile version website for Cheeseheadtv?

Thaddeus-
There is. If you come to CHTV with an iPhone or Andriod enabled mobile phone.
Currently only those operating systems are supported.
