Let’s call this the weekend after. AF
And so it should be that videos would make us a little happier in these post-traumatic stressful times. Sometimes they do. Most times they don’t. This first one is for a Legend.
I think the best part of the trade is that it allows us to cheer on Brett. :chz

Back to the Madden controversy, or i guess it’s not now that EA is going to have inserts and downloads ready for Favre as a Jet. Here is the second trailer for the game. If they are smart they will continue to market the game this way.

Weekend Videos - Brett Favre Burning

Just posted about 20 clips to our Packer Video site. What better way to relax on the weekend than to watch videos on youtube? I want to start it off with this little video by some fans in Nashota, WI. Pretty good… a little on the long side. Do I see a Titletown Packer Fan Video nomination here. Possibly. I have also included the local news press they have already received so you can learn more about the makers behind the video.

Videos while you’re waiting

While waiting for a 4:35 PM CT Mike McCarthy press conference, listening to yesterday’s sportsline, I hunted down some Packer videos that helped distract me. I hope they do the same for you.

I start it off with Aaron Rodgers highlights at Family Night. This video is one of those “most likely to be deleted or pulled from Youtube”…

Then on to a nice look at our nemesis and why you don’t want to see Brett play for them.

Moving on to a Bobby O’ Shea video edit that kicks ass. No matter what Brett - “U R the m^#f%$ man”.

Finally for some historical perspective. Lombardi Biographer David Maraniss on Upfront talks about what lombardi would have done in the Favre situation. Note: To skip to the Favre question GOTO 8 minutes 47 seconds.

I Feel The Power

When I was a senior in high school, I won a scholarship given out by a local choir. One of the members of that choir was Mel Knoke. Winning the scholarship meant that I got to attend a dinner (somewhat in my humble honor). At that dinner, I had the immense pleasure of sitting at the same table as Mel, who did nothing but talk about the Packers the entire time, while wearing his signature wood bow tie. (You can see it in the video below) Every year at this time, I dig this video up and remember how wonderful Mel was and how much we shared a unique passion for this game and this team we all love so much.

I feel the power…

Is it just me or is the world spinning suddenly out of control?

2 things that are still true and SHOULD NOT EVER CHANGE.

1. No one has the right to tell Brett he can’t play another year.

Not Ted Thompson. Not Bob Harlan. Not Mark Murphy. Not even the Dark Lord Himself. :darth

I also think if Brett shows up he must be allowed to earn his spot and they know this and are petrified of it.

2. Brett Favre must not be traded to a Conference team

It’s funny haha to joke about the Vikings. And time does a lot for your perspective long term. But I was not born in Green Bay and raised a Packer fan so that I could spend the rest of my life with Brett Favre wearing a purple jersey. Somebody wake me up when this nightmare has ended.

Aaron covers a lot of this ground, but I wanted to update with the video.
