2/20	First day for teams to designate franchise or transition players.
2/22-2/28	Combine timing and testing, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana.

March

3/5	Teams must designate franchise or transition players by 4:00 PM ET.
3/13	By 4:00 PM ET, teams must submit qualifying offers to their restricted free agents with expiring contracts and to whom they desire to retain a right of first refusal/compensation.
3/13	By 4:00 PM ET, teams must submit a minimum salary offer to retain exclusive negotiating rights to their players with expiring 2011 contracts and who have fewer than three seasons of free agency credit.
3/13	By 4:00 PM ET, teams must exercise options for 2012 on all players who have option clauses in their 2011 contract.
3/13	All 2011 player contracts will expire at 4:00 PM ET.
3/13	The 2012 League Year and Free Agency and trading period begin at 4:00 PM ET.
3/26-3/28	Annual Meeting, Palm Beach, Florida.

April

4/26	First round of 2012 NFL Draft at 8:00 PM ET.
4/27	Rounds two to three of 2012 NFL Draft at 7:00 PM ET.
