Brett Favre Burning (The Original)

That's right. The original. The 2009 Titletown Award winning video made last year by the now famous Stark family of filmmakers from Nashota, WI. I think it's fitting for a replay of the original with all the copycats out there. Here is the pioneer for this particular genre. I just spoke with their producer by e-mail to show them my take (below). I call it the Favre Traitor Remix. It's an edit based on an idea by PackersRS in the comments section of the True Packer Fan video.

Could it be possible that by constantly reliving this and spewing irration venom towards Farve we are doing nothing but creating a distraction for the Packers that will be to the detriment of the team.

Think about it the vikings only have one player that has to answer these questions and the vikings press will be throwing far less questions to him because their fans don't really care. While, because of all the focus on this be us, our team will have to answer questions about it every time BF plays well, whether its against us or not. Possibly week after week.

Let it go. For the good of the Team.

Rainman- I agree with your sentiment. I would say not every Packer fan is that over the situation as it JUST Happened 5 days ago. Sorry- I'm not quite over it. As it's the Pre-Season- I'm not that worried that it's a distraction for the team...chill

People need to Vent. Let them Vent. period. I will report the venting. I am not of the mind that it's "irrational venom". Word

I likely won't be over it until he actually retires. I live in the Twin Cities so if I even want to check the local news there is usually a story about the situation.

Right now I think it is better to get it out of our system rather than let it build up. The problem is that the wounds, on both sides, need time and distance to heal. And we're not getting it which keeps reopening the wounds that were finally starting to at least scab over. And until we can stop having Brett Favre in the media all the time it is going to hard for people to get over this.

Granted, two wins over the Vikings this year would probably help. Gloating is a nice painkiller.

Anybody have any leads on a stream for tonight? JEFF? NFL Network’s gonna replay it tomorrow, but that just won’t do.

I'll have to miss most or all of tonight's game. I have to attend a work function. I'll have to follow on my crackberry.
