Thanks for linking to a pay-firewall js insider story. when are newspapers going to figure out that if they don’t open up their content, people will go elsewhere. nytimes just figured it out.

Sorry about that - I usually give a warning about that sort of thing. Re: your newspaper point.

I could not agree more in general, however, when you do something as well as the JS does for a niche market with a readership as rabid as Packer fans, you can get away with it. I mean, it’s only something like $30 for the year. Well worth it for geeks like me ;)

But like I said, overall, I agree, esp when it comes to the Paper of Record ;)
