Bishop, Lang & Raji Get Raises In 2012
Desmond Bishop and T.J. Lang will see their base salaries increased in 2012 after reaching various incentives in their contracts.

Just a small note on some great number crunching from Brian McIntyre.
Brian notes each NFL player who is in line for salary increases in 2012, including two members of the Green Bay Packers.
T.J. Lang and Desmond Bishop will see their base salary increase next season. Lang is being rewarded for hitting playing time incentives in the fourth year of his contract while its not immediately clear what incentives Bishop has reached.
Lang, who is entering the final year of his rookie deal, was scheduled to make $615,000 but will now pull in $1,260,000 in base salary next year. Bishop, who was slated to make $2,826,000, will receive a modest bump up to $3,001,000.
UPDATE: Brian has added another Packer to his list: Defensive lineman B.J. Raji's salary for 2012 will go from $2,150,000 to $3,350,000, an increase of $1,200,000.

Good for those guys. How awesome would that be to have your salary double for showing up for work and doing your job. Damn.

Not to mention "a modest bump" being $175k.

Lol, I know... Totally different world. I mean I have to work a half a year to make 175k... 8-)

Half a year - Man what do you do? I have to work more than 5 years right now to make that...
Hopefully changing that soon tho :)

Good stuff.. well deserved in my opinion.. Hey Aaron do you think Lang gets an extension this offseason or do they make him play out his last year of his contract to see if he is the real deal?

I doubt they do something this summer, but you never know. My hunch is they'll extend him at some point early in the 2012 regular season.

To be fair, these guys do show up day in and day out. They definitely do get paid tho.

Probally two of the few guys who busted there arse all year and deserve a pay bump? Hopefully with a full offseason at LG this year Lang will improve even more and become a beast?

How did they survive on their salaries this year?

Hard to believe Bishop still makes so much less than Hawk. That is one contract I bet TT could do over.

I'm sure Rodgers got a SWWWEEEEEET bonus for getting NFLMVP like maybe 1M. Just guessing.

I Love these guys and their well deserved raises . . . but to be frank, lets say we forget about Bishop, Lang, Raji & even Finley. What the Hell are they gonna do about Scotty Wells?
Its the MOST important question of the offseason.
Aaron, what can you tell us about Scotty Wells?
