3 of the Best Packer Fan videos from last year in no particular order.
The first (below) is infantile, boorish and really funny. I really like it. The original had over 52,000 views before it was taken down by alextheis, a longer version has been up the same amount of time (14,104 views as of post) by a Youtube account named GMtedthompson. We have tried to contact both using the accounts messaging. If anyone knows the guys who made it, write to us.
Update: The creators got back to us. Alex gave us the reason for the Youtube takedown:
“After about 8 months of ridicule, Jake and I both decided that we had
enough. I was sick of policing the comments (some haters just couldn’t
stop hating), and we were also really embarassed about some of the older
people we knew who saw the video… and were less than impressed. In
January we decided to take down the video, although if we would have
known about this nomination we would have kept it up!”

This one (below) is a great example of the word Paparazzi- Green Bay Style.
Jason Paterson, the video’s creator, told us about the making of Fan stays at Same Hotel as team; “Yeah it was quite a surprise for me being a HUGE Green Bay Packer fan to be staying at the same hotel the night before a game. Me and my Viking friend went down for the game. On game day I got up early too see if I could capture some footage. Next thing you know, the team buses arrived and I am right on the side walk. At the end of the video I saw Brett Favre stop to sign some autographs. I thought I’d better stop recording and see if I could get him to sign my jacket.” Jason sent pics of his new Packer bathroom here.
In my honest opinion, this video (below) has to go in the annals as a masterpiece. One of our most watched videos on the Cheesehead TV Video site. My favorite comment given on a video all-time- here’s what smitty had to say: “Being a Packer Fan having grown up in Green Bay I would never condone this childish indignant behavior. It makes Packer fans look like idiots. You’re not cute or clever.” Smitty- buddy It’s not cute, it’s not clever…it’s really funny and i like it. Whoever made this video, I have already tried to contact you at your Youtube username carovan . Reach out to us so we can give props where it’s due.
