Benson Pays Fourth of Four Fines, Avoids Court Appearance

Green Bay Packers running back Cedric Benson has reportedly paid the fourth of four recent fines in Manitowoc County, which have totaled over $1,000, according to Fox 11 in Green Bay.

"Officials say the $200.50 payment for 'animals running at large' negates the need for a court appearance Wednesday," reads an article posted at Fox11Online.com.

Benson previously paid another fine for animals running at large as well as other violations for operating without a license and speeding.

When the new league year begins on March 12, Benson will be an unrestricted free agent.
