Benson Avoid Court Date by Paying Hundreds in Fines

Green Bay Packers running back and upcoming free agent Cedric Benson has reportedly paid three out of four fines issued to him in Manitowoc County, and thus does not have to appear in court on Wednesday.

According to Fox 11 in Green Bay Benson paid the following fines:

  • Operating without a valid license, $200.50
  • Speeding, $452.50
  • Animal at large, $200.50

Benson is not out of the clear totally, however.

"The other animal-at-large citation is scheduled for court Feb. 20," reports Fox 11. "That fine has not been paid, the clerk's office says."
