I think I said that the D would have its’ hicups during the year. Well, they hacked up an entire lung yesterday. They better show up next week.

I don’t give a dman if the Bengals have a ggod defense or not. The Packers pay those five guys in front of Rodgers to Block. They don’t! Why? TT believes that O linemen are fillers and can be replaced by any “Fat Azzed Shlub” that will take minimum wage offer. We are now seeing the result of his 5 year tenure.

RB just a bad as the line. We are probably the only team in the league with a RB on the Roster that hasn’t even practiced since week 3 of the pre-season.

As frustrating as this is, there’s not much that can be done about it now. It’s too late! MM will have to change his coaching techniques and downgrade his Offensive Game Plan. Can he do that? I’m not sure his ego will allow him to. This could be a very long and very bad season. I’m still holding out for a miracle and blame yesterday on the fact that the whole team had Swine Flu and kept it a secret. Yeah that’s it, Swine Flu.

Packer Nation is clearly suffering from the rare but serious “Bengal Shock”.

-Causes: Defeat suffered at the hands of a “supposedly” weak, inferior and/or doormat of a team. Complete dismantling of the belief that teams that were bad, stay bad and that the league isn’t based on match-ups and parity.

-Symptoms: shattered over-confidence, shaking, verbally lashing out, suicidal tendencies, wild mood swings, denial, and explosive diarrhea.

-Treatments: Beating the dog shit out the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings in a fit of rage.

Aaron is 100% correct. The Bengals were a top 12 defensive unit last year and they added to their roster on the defensive side int he offseason. Not making excuses for the Packers, they are the more talented team. People really need to watch more than just Packers games before pronouncing the Bengals nothing but doormats.

Btw – They stonewalled the best offensive line in football last week in the Denver Brnocos.

let’s see how the Packers rebound.

Yes, the offensive line was worse than expected, but it’s not like anyone was talking about the elite status of the line.

Yes, Grant didn’t show much, but the line sucked and it’s not like anyone was saying that Grant was an elite runner who didn’t even need a hole.

Yes, the receivers dropped a lot of passes, but it’s not like anyone was saying…oh wait, nevermind.

I don’t know what to say about the D.

I would point out that the Bears beat the Steelers, so the win over the Bears now looks a bit more impressive.

Maybe the Bengals are better than most of us thought??

Even the only “good” rated player on our team had his share of miscues. I think I saw him bounce off of Benson a couple times.

The bottom line is this: The Packers didn’t execute on either side of the ball. On the offense, the line couldn’t block and the receivers couldn’t catch. On the defense, nobody could shed blocks or tackle. A dismal performance for a team that we thought would be a real contender this year. Hopefully we don’t have to completely abandon those thoughts down the line.

True. But he DID have 2 false start penalties on special teams. I would say that Jarrett Bush sucks, but he would have to improve a lot to be at the level of “suck”
