Are These The Packers 2015 Throwback Uniforms?
Nike has since pulled the page, but the image of this year's throwback uniform is now out there.

Thanks to eagle-eyed Twitter user Phil Tavares, we apparently know now what the 2015 Packers throwback uniforms look like.
These look very familiar.

I remember when I was a kid coming home from trick or treating on Halloween '94 and watching Favre destroy the Bears in those jerseys.

I don't mind this. I like it a lot better then the ones they just got done using.
But I was kind of hoping for the 1951/52 throwbacks.

They look great, but come on, let's see something new.
I agree with RC, the '51-'52 would be great. Or the white and gold from 1950. Really, anything new.

Yeah, I was hoping for the 51-52 first, and after that I thought it would be cool to see the white and gold from 50.
That being said, I still like their new ones a lot better then these last ones they just got done using.

Am I the only one that is over throw back jerseys? The only reason they sell them is to eek out a few extra bucks selling merch.
If the Packers are going to play in an alternative jersey (it doesn't have to be a throwback), at this point I'd rather they do something interesting. As I mentioned in another thread, I'd like to see the Packers play in blaze orange camo during hunting season. Half of the stadium is decked out in blaze orange anyhow. At this point, blaze orange during hunting season is a much a "Packer tradition" as just about anything. (More so than some blue and mustard monstrosity from 70 years ago.)
But anyhow: screw throwbacks.

Throwbacks were fine for a while. It was cool when the throwback actually commemorate an anniversary of a significant event (i.e, the 75th year anniversary, etc.). But now throwback just commemorate that time the NFL sold a buttload of jerseys.
Still, I'd rather see the Packers in an ugly blue and mustard uni than watch them play in London at 5am.

That would be pretty cool, if they did a Camo, Blaze Orange, or a combination of Camo and Blaze Orange.
I get the throwbacks because its a way to honor the past and keep tradition alive. But at the same time it would be really neat to see them do something like that.

Blaze orange would be awesome as an alternate uniform... just look at the stands during hunting season and how many hunters wear their gear

I was hoping for the white and gold. I agree with D.D. Driver that they should do a blaze orange style alt for deer season. It would look too good in the stands with all the orange already there. Fits the region.

While the article is right, these have been done before in the 90s... at least these are "meh" as opposed to the last ones, which had cool stocking caps for the players on the sidelines but were otherwise BUGLY. (The brown helmet versions in particular made the players look like turds from the stadium cam).
I'd be all for the 50-53 versions of a throwback. Or a new redesign altogether. The rest of our unis throughout the franchise's history looks like tweaks on the same theme or is straight up bugly. Face it, GB's unis, while traditional, are boring.
Let the hate flow. I expect lots of responses to my troll-sounding-actual opinion. ;)

I love how the packers have such tradition. But I hate how the packers have to be so old school. If that makes any sense haha. Take a throwback ...and put a little spin on it I dunno just something different. We all get so excited just so we can see something we have already seen. How ....deflating...............get it?
