Just read this response from Demovsky over in his chat in regards to James Jones:
Q: How would rate the playing speed of Jordy Nelson vs. James Jones? If both are fully healthy at the beginning of the season, who do you think will get more snaps?
A: I've never clocked them, but it seems to me Nelson would be faster and Jones would be more rugged and tougher to bring down.
I am so sick of this.
James Jones is not 'rugged'. He is not a hard runner by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, he's one of the easiest wideouts on the Packers roster to take down. Take a look here at the 1:53 mark. Watch how Jones 'takes on' the tackler. And in the interest of fairness, this is from his rookie year, not last year when he was injured.
No go watch here at the 1:00 mark. THAT is how you take on a tackler. (Not to mention several of his friends)
It's all about heart. Driver has bags of it. Jones needs to get him some.
