Aaron Rodgers Randall Cobb will be taking a break from the Green Bay Packers offseason program that begins Apr. 22 to attend the 26th annual Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala on the evening of Friday May 2.

The Packers quarterback and wide receiver are on the guest list for the posh Louisville affair described as one of the “Ten Best Parties in the World” by Condé Nast.

Hosted by twin sisters Patricia Barnstable Brown and Priscilla Barnstable, the charity function has raised approximately $9,600,000 for the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky over the past eight years. Cobb attended the University of Kentucky.

Rodgers and Cobb will be joined by several personalities from the world of sports, music and entertainment, including Kings of Leon, Miranda Lambert, Tom Brady and many others.

In previous years, linebacker Clay Matthews has also attended the benefit party, but he was not included on the 2014 guest list.

If this doesn't give Clay Matthews motivation to stay healthy and play a full season nothing will. He's losing out on all the good parties.
