Aaron Rodgers Finishes as Pro Bowl Leading Vote-Getter

It took one final surge by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to become the NFL's leading Pro Bowl vote-getter, the league announced on Wednesday.

In the NFL's previous update two weeks ago, Rodgers found himself behind Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning as the top overall vote-getter. Fan voting ended Monday Dec. 15.

Rodgers, however, finished with 1,015,004 votes to lead all players, regardless of position.

John Kuhn finished as the top vote-getter among fullbacks.

Guard Josh Sitton, wide receiver Jordy Nelson and special teamer Jarrett Bush all finshed second at their respective positions.

No invitation to the Pro Bowl is official, however, until the coaches and players cast their votes on Dec. 19.

Pro Bowl players are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the all-star players.

The Pro Bowl roster will be revealed on the NFL Network Tuesday Dec. 23 at 7:00 p.m. CT on NFL Total Access.
