A New Season Dawns…

A new association is awakened.
It's called Cheesehead Nation. It's not a club. You don't have to be a member. If you are reading this post right now you most likely already are.
It's about the most die-hard Green Bay Packer fans in the World. They know all the sites, they know all the sounds, they know the rotting behemoth lurking in the shadows of days gone by...
But this is the future. This is the now.
Join us for a 2 hour Live Broadcast from our studios in Inwood, Manhattan tonight from 7pm-9pm CST. Aaron and I will be hosting an extended version of Packer Transplants "Friday Night LIVE" directed by our friend Alex Tallitsch of Packers Lounge. (yes I said LIVE) We will have a live interview with Brian Carriveau of Railbird Central talking all things Packers.
Did we mention it is going to be interactive?
Not only will you be able to chat while watching the feed but we will be LIVE blogging the entire event. C.D. Angeli of Tundra Vision joins Brian Carriveau of Railbird Central for a live blogging extravaganza with twitter feeds, Voice of the Nation Packer polls and a unique 2 hour perspective into what Packer fans are saying right now around the world.

Love the concept hate the name. Any time I hear of anything-”nation” I think Boston. PackerBackers has been the name for the fanbase for as long as I can remember.

Cheezer – Go anywhere outside of the state of Wisconsin and they will call you a Cheesehead. I guarantee it.

Also, with ‘PackerBackers’ there is always the chance of infringing on the team’s copyright. We’d much rather deal with Fomation (maker of the Cheesehead) than the Packers.
Actually, Aaron – around INDY, they’ve always referred to us as “those who should go back where we came from” … but I digress.

-And, no, If the Packers were going to ration $#%^ to any of the fans, I would think OUR LOGO would make us first in line. So, your 2nd logic is a bit off course.
Packer Backers is not nearly as cool sounding to me as Cheesehead Nation.
