As sure as the Earth revolves around the sun, if it is game day, then there must be 5 arbitrary things for you to watch.
I don’t know who we have to thank for the game day tradition of publications listing ‘5 Things To Watch’ (Why five? Why not ten? And why the hell should I watch what YOU tell me to watch? What if I have my own things I’d like to watch?) Anyway, I would never presume to tell you what to watch, but I leave it to your discretion to be instructed here, here or here.

This sounds eerily similar to my nightly journal entries. Here’s an excerpt:
3 Things to Watch for Tomorrow
1- Will the sun rise? Sure it’s done so every day for eons, but will tomorrow be the day it doesn’t? Law of averages says that sooner or later it WON’T rise.
2- Will I take the yellow line or green line uptown after I arrive in Manhattan on the ferry. The subway line I choose could have HUGE ramifications as to how many seconds faster I make it to class.
3- How will my professor handle the first day of classes? Will he lecture or use the traditional Socratic method? Surely I can jump to conclusions after a single arbitrary class, so I am very interested to see how it goes.
